Great!

I was expecting something very different, seeing as I immediatly checked out your author's name as soon as I saw the name of the Flash. You surprised me though, and told us something that only few of the more regular Newgrounds visitors know.

It made me curious though, what's the point of this movie if you are a clock? Are you going to quit being a clock, or are you trying to change the Clock Crew back to what it once was? Are you trying to educate your fellow Clocks of the use of persons as well as just simple drawings, and actual voices instead of Speaknoia, Microsoft Sam or whatever else they use? Just curious.

As for the Flash, there were few things that I didn't like about it. The graphics were good, although simple to create. The style was great, and the music certainly fitted in with it. The voice wasn't perfect, but only because of the few 'spits' in s and t, but the tone was great and it's just a minor annoyance. There was no violence, interactivity or humor in it so those are 0's :)
(is there ever going to be an n/a function for it...?)

Cheers!

AlbinoClock responds:

A bunch of us made Anti-Clock movies to submit on the same day. It got a hilarious response.

The audio is an exaggeration of my perspective on the CC. Though I do think that the better artwork brought us a number of people who don't really belong in the CC, it's not bad enough for me to dislike the it, and the increase in quality is worth the change.

We have a larger community, so it's inevitable that it won't be completely what we might wish it would be. That doesn't mean it's time to give up, it means we have to keep pushing forward, and try to exhibit the qualities of a clock, in our movies and actions.

Thanks for the thoughtful review. :)

I liked it!

Well if you want feedback:

- It would help if you said what the project was about, and specifically, what it's for (graphic education?) and if you explained what kinda style you were going for, so we'd know what to look for.

- The part where the picture is replaced by black background, white stars and green outlines, I loved that part, but maybe it would look cooler if you'd have traced the windows as well. Depends on if that would get too crude and chaotic though. Just a thought. I mean, the way it is now, with it all being pretty clear-cut and clean is nice, so if anything, don't have it become all 'messy'.

- For the rest, it's really cool, and the music suits it quite perfect. The part where the green outlines switch back to picture was the part I liked best :).

I wish I could help you better, but aside from these comments that's about it. It's already pretty much perfect. I hope to see more. Are you gonna upload the final version here? :)

Funny-Frisch responds:

thanks for the comments! i'll be putting a preloader on the final version, and yes, it's a graphic design project (not an ad project as some people thought). tracing all the windows would take time i don't have and you're right, may look too busy. for sure i'll upload the final version here. :) thanks!

Great work.

What I like about this series is the peacefulness and choice of body language rather than talking. But what I truly love about this series is the choice of music - the contrasting choice of music, at that.
The first one I saw was Another Day 6, and that is still my favourite. The really depressing song, and then a story that doesn't seem to be depressive at all, at first glance. But when you think about it, especially some of the body lanuage Red Rabbit is displaying, it's pretty deep. What it ment to (6) me was that some things just aren't worth it - but friends are.

What this one (7) ment to me was peacefulness, serenity and beauty.

Keep it up!

"seaweed" and "REEFerheads" = win!

Woah, good work dude. Must've taken you a while. I loved how you used alot of detail in it, instead of just being lousy and not bothering with that. Great job!

Haha, that's great dude!

It felt a bit like "decline". That's how well drawn it was, and you also used alot of the same style and humor. I loved it.

Eric-S responds:

Thanks! :)

I like the SFB too, thank for the compliment!

I thought it was actually quite funny

I have just one thing to say though: when she gets runover by a car, stop the happy happy music right there and add in some kind of "zzzzzzzzzzzzzp" sound (indicating a sudden change).
Then wait a few seconds with just silence, and then put in the music again. Use a playfromframe; () to skip forward the music back to the part it previously stopped at. Then in comes the picture with a happy-song again.

That's how I would have done it ;). Great job though, and yeh, I got the intention.

Nicro responds:

Hell yeah ! That s what I wanted to do(more or less), the problem was I dont know anything about flash scripting ^_^. Even now after you said "how" to do it, I wouldn t be able to transcribe it in my .fla >.> ....

I liked "the little girl" better

I'm not sure if you went for humor or for a dark/moody/depressive atmosphere in this flash, but for me it turned out to be humor.
The little girl had that dark/moody/depressive atmosphere, and the voice actor was superb .. It almost made me cry the first time I saw it, and that's quite an accomplishment for such a wacky flash.
This one however, I hate to say it, but the voice actor had a perfectly clear voice but just not the right accent and talking speed for the job. Even though her voice was in itself great. Unless it was your intention to make this humorous, the voice actor failed.
Also, the idea in this flash ... well I understand the intention to make a wacky flash that's still dark/moody/depressive. But this flash was just a bit too wacky, and even you couldn't still make it dark/moody/depressive.

So, as I said, I like "The Little Girl" better.

But don't take this too serious, because I am comparing this to a flash that's, in my honest opinion, one of the best ones I've seen on Newgrounds.

Yes yes yes!

Thanks so much for cheering up my day since christmas totally sucked!

Everyone is entitled to my opinion.
